The mechanical Rival 22 DoubleTap levers were developed based on the RED 22 levers, the SRAM top group. They are equipped with aluminum brake and shift levers and use the same mechanism as the RED 22 levers for optimal shifting performance. They take on features like DoubleTap, ZeroLoss, individual ReachAdjust. Thanks to the ErgoFit design, which is also used in the Force 22 and Red 22 levers, these levers are also particularly impressive in terms of ergonomics. The textured coatings provide an improved grip structure and optimal hold. Another outstanding technology of the Rival 22 is yaw. It allows the chain to rotate at an angle in combination with a Yaw-compatible rear derailleur. This eliminates the trimming function with confusing intermediate steps.
Note: Compatible only with SRAM 11-speed Red 22, Force 22, or Rival 22 derailleurs. For best shifting performance, please use the 2-speed Rival 22 lever only with YAW derailleurs.
