Mountain bikes are the epitome of versatility, and the Acid 260 Disk FE is no exception. With a lighting system, side stand, and clip-on mudguards, this bike is perfectly equipped – whether for the school run, playground, or rainy weather. In addition, its lightweight aluminum frame is equipped with carefully selected components, including a suspension fork and disk brakes. This bike is therefore perfect for anything adventurous youngsters can think of.
Of course, we put just as much passion into the development of our kids' bikes as we do with everything else. No wonder, then, that the chassis of the Acid 260 Disk FE uses the same mechanically formed, double-conified, and heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube set as our adult models. In combination with our Agile Ride Geometry, this resulted in a frame that allows kids to build confidence and improve their skills efficiently. Additionally, we equipped it with an accessory set including fenders, lights, and a side stand – and an easily replaceable derailleur hanger, so that the occasional fall doesn't mean the end of the world or the frame.
