In 2020, Newmen set to work to combine aerodynamics, low weight and stability in a new wheel line that is set to set new standards. Standards that Newmen's detail-loving designers set for their work and that stand up to the judgment of their World Tour riders. Newmen was able to prove the proof of concept with a Giro d'Italia stage win in 2021 at the latest. Nevertheless, another twelve months passed with countless hours in the laboratory, thousands of racing kilometers and further historic victories until today's version of Streem. Tested on the legendary pavés of the Flemish classics and on its own test benches, Streem is now ready for use on the road. More sidewall height for more speed. The Advanced SL R.65 Streem Vonoa are used on flat or undulating terrain when aerodynamics and agility are top priorities. With the 65 mm sidewall, the Advanced SL R.65 Streem Vonoa is a clear statement for high speed. With a total weight of just 1,435 g, the wheelset optimally combines aerostability and a sailing effect. Whether it's a criterium, flat stage or sprint finish - the Advanced SL R.65 ensures low air resistance and maximum acceleration in the final sprint. Vonoa spoke technology has made the Streem R.65 around 140 g lighter, making them perhaps the lightest clincher wheels with a profile height of 65 mm. The flatter profile of the Vonoa Road Aero spokes in combination with only 21 spokes on the front and rear wheels also bring aerodynamic Advantages.
